Because he's providing real political and moral leadership while the "leadership" internal to the Democratic party are cuckold failures.

Hasan backed candidates have basically wiped the floor throughout both the Democratic primaries and now general elections. As people have recognized the failures of both centrism and bipartisanship, explicitly socialist views expressed through a relatable, non academic, non corporate views have real purchase. Expect them to continue to grow into a household name. You better get comfortable in this new reality.

Which is one reason dear cumfart (this comment can't get removed for using a username right?) is so upset and attempting to deflect from a very important slander lawsuit.

Will be amazing to see Jennings either have to do an apology or see how low he goes to try and get out of it

Except maybe for Destiny, who created him.

You're giving way too much credit to that sexual extortionist.

He actually agrees with you, he's just a twitch streamer who does political commentary and occasional activism when it aligns with his ideology. He would happily stay in his lane. But the democrats and republicans have turned him into a big deal and gone out of their way to slander him.

He's been a political commentator even before he became a streamer. He probably still reacts to content on the account that political commentary largely depends on reacting to interviews, news clips, articles etc. I'm sure he probably does non-political reactions, such as the recent H3H3 implosion, but as with political commentary he adds a lot of commentary ontop the content. There was even a viral clip of casuallyexplained calling out Hasan for constantly pausing videos to add his own commentary.

The idea that he mostly stole content from others is one of the multitude of lies his haters have told over the years. He's a far cry from the react streamers who consume content in its entirety and add only "uh-uh, yeah, right."

He has something like over 20 000 hours streamed. I'm sure you're going to run into that as well, but if that's all you've ever seen... I guess you must be the worlds unluckiest viewer to always find him doing just that.

I mean you can literally open his stream right at this very moment, he's not just sitting there "reacting" like a houseplant. He's not even watching a video others made.

I like you, you’re a great poster here, but it’s wild to pretend that “just a steamer” means they’re unimportant nowadays. We’re not far from a streamer president in CURRENT YEAR, the amount of influence is incredible. I don’t like that fact, but hey, I gotta adapt.

I think a race to the bottom is the only way in the US… shit, anything is better than the opposition they try to throw at the party of evil lawl

I wasn’t saying streamer president immediately, but we’re for sure on track for streamer president by 2040. People love entertainer presidents (I mean…) and “streamer” or “YouTuber” is far more recognized as a parasocial-able figure to latch onto than “traditional media guy” at this point.

Edit: oh! I meant “In CURRENT YEAR we’re not far from a streamer president” rather than “we will have one right now”—I’m sorry for my bad verbiage in my other comment!

That's your opinion mang thats fine. And just like the failure of the Biden administration to do anything to stop a genocide , you can choose to see or not see whatever you like.

Hasan is a political commentator who reads and responds to the news outloud. And they do it in a way which most people under the age of 40 would do it, in a mocking, casual sometimes cynical view. And people can relate to that; they aren't just reenforcing establishment views.

Here's what its going to come down to: Hasan picked the winners. The canddiates they endorsed and supported, they made it through their primaries, and after making it through the primaries, they are winning their elections. They are more ideologically similar to Hasan and most of the people here, than you or other centrist/ rightwing politics. But more importantly, they picked winners, and supported them early when early support makes the difference. That makes them a king maker.

I mean no you are not. Centrism has lost every election where its been tried. You don't represent anyone. Socialism/ Social Democracy is far more popular with voters.

    How’s the genocides doing now?

“Worse” doesn’t mean that Biden didn’t kill a lot of innocent people and children. Also Biden has killed more Palestinians than Trump has. Not sure how he’s been worse.

The problem you’re missing IS that they ran the same campaign… and WHAT happened in between those two elections? What happened, say, early October 2023 and as a result of? I’ll let you figure that one out for yourself.

Harris would have won if she moved left of Biden, woman or not. It was very clear that’s what we needed and it’s very clear they ran away from you (the blue voter) in favor of Trump voters. Why you’d still fall for it years later is beyond me.

Does anyone else remember Tim Walz, governor of my great home state, who is on record saying he loves Isreal btw, told JD Vance in a debate about a “preemptive strike on Iran”? Because I do.

Hell, does anyone even remember during the state of the union Trump said he would invade Iran to “protect its sovereignty a after evil government killed a bajillion protesters” or something dumb like that and fucking ELIZABETH WARREN GAVE HIM A STANDING OVATION?!? because I remember.

People don’t see war and genocide in terms of “bad and worse” because that’s how children think and behave. Genocide is bad and genocidal democrats don’t deserve power because you think they’re a little bit better than the genocidal republicans.

Your view was the standard view in 2024/25, from corporate sources, and I think much of the population simply accepted that view, especially among liberals.

But you've lost. And no one believes you or your sources in corporate media. Its clear that your ideology is bankrupt, so people have abandoned you.

The hollowness and emptiness of your perspective is exactly why Hasan is ascendant, and you and your twins in corporate media are descendant.

You have the nuance of a cinderblock. I'm steel manning the argument: Because even the far right recognize the ascendancy and popularity of Democratic Socialism.

You understand this is why you and yours have no relevancy right? This are basic ass debate-pervert tropes. These wouldn't even fly in 2001 internet debate.

You don't like reality so you attack the source, which is practically a copy-pasta of the original pew poll.

You are hollow. Your worldview is empty. You don't live in a verifiable, reproducible version of reality.

The fact is that Democratic Socialists have wiped the floor with "centrist" candidates from Palm Beach to Sacramento, and we're heading into what might the most extreme blue wave election since 1994, possibly ever, precisely because of people like Hasan Piker building up candidates in the primaries and killing centrism in the crib, where it deserves to die and stay dead. Worthless maggots on MSNow or MSNBC are now squealing because you've lost control of the narrative. But reality is that you did this to yourself.

The idea that candidates should appeal to the "center" handed the country to fascism in 2024. That has now become the collective understanding. Progressivisim/ Democratic socialism is saving the country from fascism.

Like you are arguing with yourself buddy, and its pathetic.

I agree with you, but that doesn't change anything. Harris ran a bad campaign and they fucked up running Biden again initially. Everyone soured on them when it was clear Harris was going to continue funding the genocide.

The Democratic party fucked up that election. Now we gotta make sure we hold them to their supposed morals so that they can possibly win moving forward or we elect more progressives who actually listen to their constituents instead of donors.

He literally canvases and makes appearances at rallies for the candidates he's supporting. Maybe do more research than none at all next time?

Also you seem to be ignoring the answer to this question you were already given, deliberately i have to imagine. Hasan gets views, gets attention. Views and attention are power, they're influence. If Hasan has 100k viewers that's 100k potential votes for a candidate.

What are you not understanding about that? It seems really straightforward that views and influence = power.
