I have copy of this (got it before the dev appeared in the news), I like the concept.

Ooh, neat. I loooove city builders!
Ixion was scratching my itch for awhile but I've been playing a bunch of different ones lately, but never for very long.
Good to hear you enjoyed it!
I did almost 20 hours during weekend. I really enjoy. It is not so factorio as I expected. Not so logistic as I expected. But keep a good fantasy of space exploration. Still very unique onw its implementation.
Have not played it, but I added it to my wishlist.
It remind me a lot of Interstellar Transport Company, which I enjoyed a lot even though it is a very flawed game (it doesn't feel like an incomplete 1.0 release).
There is just something cool about setting up trade routes, passenger lines and industry networks across a solar system full of planets in motion
Yes, that's mentioned in the headline.
It seems like its in a relatively mature state and reviews have generally been very positive.
Oh so like Dwarf Fortress!
It sounds like one of those games where you barely understand what's going on the first ~5 hours. But if you stick through it, you get access to an in-depth, engaging game that you can play for years.
I don't even mind the text UI, I've played a few other spreadsheet simulator games (not fully text based) and they can be a lot of fun.
I love the idea of this but I feel like I’d be too dumb to play it!
Looks great - though according to Steam Forums, it's currently not working on Linux/Proton - though the dev appears aware of this, and hoping to patch it to work.
Nah, we're celebrating the cancellation of Starfleet Academy.
Demo also has full mod support!
I've had it for ages. Grab the demo if you're not too sure. If you like physics based spacey games, this scratches quite a lot of itches.
I've been meaning to try this, but it seems like the kind of game where you need 5-10 hours to get into it and then you can play for hundreds of hours.
Also has a demo available. Its the full game but without saving functionality.
If you know your way around memory editing tools you can easily skip into the late game.
Very interesting! Gotta keep an eye on this
We have Stellaris at home vibes.
Who are they trying to convince? Zoomers? Every millennial knows Pod Racer was the best part of the prequels
It's just an external RP mod that makes an overlay in-game
I don't get it. Can someone ELI5 to me how this works? I've been playing ED around 2014-2017 and I really wanted to like it but I eventually gave up because Braben refuses to understand what makes a game fun. It was a technological marvel, but the endless grind and spreadsheet-like storytelling wore me down.
Elite Dangerous was always a game that was oceanic in breadth but puddle-deep in depth. This looks like a cool meta tool to make it more interesting and deeper. I’d be keen to play.
When they abandoned consoles. I abandoned them. I had no idea they were still doing this game. I thought all they do is make bug-riddled theme park games now.
