Professor Quirrell's mallet struck a bellflower and then a different pale flower with two more thuds. "But then, while I had sometimes played the part of Dark Wizard in my wanderings, I had never adopted the identity of a full-fledged Dark Lord with underlings and a political agenda. I had no practice at the task, and I was mindful of the story of Dark Evangel and the disaster of her first public appearance. According to what she said afterward, she had meant to call herself the Walking Catastrophe and the Apostle of Darkness, but in the excitement of the moment she introduced herself as the Apostrophe of Darkness instead. After that she had to ruin two entire villages before anyone took her seriously."

Main alternative to Amazon that I've found is Ebay. Physical retail is fine for regular household stuff but if you need a weird or specialized item, you can't buy it in person any more. You're stuck with online. Like I needed some clear heat-shrink tubing recently, and it's impossible to find retail as far as I can tell. I guess digi-key has it but I was able to find it way more affordably on ebay when shipping is considered. I need an inner tube for my bike in an apparently unusual size and it's the same thing, have to order it. Bah.

The usual thing where the contact between the inner battery tube and the outer PCB ring gets unreliable. Cleaning the tube end fixes it temporarily but then it acts up again soon. This is a TS10SG if that matters. The problem is apparently common with TS10's and also (maybe less so?) with the Emisar KR1AA.

Is there a more permanent fix than cleaning? Like applying some kind of plating or coating? If they make a titanium body TS10v3, would that help, since it shouldn't oxidize the way aluminum does? Should I give up and get a D3AA? I'm not that keen on the D3AA because of the larger head diameter. Hey Hank, a narrower, single emitter D3AA would appreciated ;).

Was there a titanium KR1AA at one point? I don't see it listed now.

    Thanks

I mean those little foil wrapped squares of butter, maybe 10 grams each, like you get with your dinner roll at a restaurant. Because reasons, I have 100+ of those things in the freezer. I use a square or two now and then but I'm not big into butter most of the time.

What's something I can do with this butter? That probably means cook or bake something, as I expect the local Goodwill won't take it. I doubt that a food bank would take it either, though maybe that's worth a try (any idea)? I have a pressure cooker (instant pot) and an oven/range but not much cooking gear.

Thanks for any suggestions. Funny ones are fine.
