I hope someone is keeping track of these rats and investigating if they are bailing in an attempt to avoid prosecution now that rules might come back into favor.
Spent a lot of my youth on the family ranch in the foothills of the Sierra Madre. Grass fed beef, they, the cows, had pretty idyllic lives up until the end there. I have never had a problem eating a good steak. I certainly don't have a problem with someone killing and eating a deer. We've decimated the apex predators that should be culling the wild deer herds anyway.
I contacted your senator quite some time ago and urged him to resign for the sake of the country. Well, urged the staffer who answered the phone to urge him to resign. That went over like a lead balloon.
I got fed up with that thumbnail font/format a couple of weeks ago and just started blocking every channel that was using it. I didn't expect it to help much, but it has.
I didn't see the outrage from the MAGAts on those topics at all.
A lot of dumb asses voted for the orange asshole because they wanted nothing to do with the status quo. These are low information voters, just knowing in their bones that something has to change. They didn't see the corruption, civil rights violations, human rights violations, disregard of the Constitution, and so on, as a deal breaker. Just the price of gas. You can call them dummies who can't see past their wallet, and I have, but the core problem, that the status quo isn't cutting it, isn't wrong.
Dems have a chance here to show they are a positive, dynamic force for change. Big Issue change. Like healthcare, just to point out one of the big ones. The optics of Schumer and Jefferies leading again will be like driving that bus of optimism straight off a fucking cliff.
Being small minded dummies hasn't stopped the Dems before from pushing unpopular candidates or policies, so I don't have a lot of hope. I'm just trying to hold onto the warm comforting glow of Wednesday morning's election results for as long as I can.
Your Senators. I wrote my Rep yesterday re: Jefferies.
A rose by any other name...
I'll never vote for him, but have to give my grudging "good" for this.
I've already contacted my Rep-elect to voice my support for not voting for Jeffries. Not that it helped with the previous one. Also wrote my Senator-elect saying a vote for Schumer is a betrayal.
I'm happy he won, but honestly kind of disappointed that it was even close.
Give me 4 hours, some duct tape, and some old cardboard and I can make more than one Flock Camera UV Protection Cover. Biodegradable too. For the most part.
