Or maybe we could put all that effort into public transit? I lived in Germany for a few years. I did have a car, but I rarely ever used it. I could take a bus to most places in town, including the train station. Most downtown areas were pedestrian traffic only and it was very nice. Now that I live back in the US, I spend so much time in traffic. Their is always construction to make the roads bigger for all the cars. But it never seems to be enough. The whole thing feels like an expensive mess. I don't think self-driving cars will fix enough of the problems with cars.
Here is a decent review of this movie. Apparently, its so bad that it is funny for all the wrong reasons. https://youtu.be/9Dz_uVgh7wI
As opposed to solar farms which require vast plots of land, power substations to make the power usable by the grid, and a lot more upkeep.
We already have vast plots of land being taken up by parking lots and buildings. There is a hospital in my area that put solar panels over the parking lot. It is really nice. Your car interior stays cooler. Many buildings have their AC cooling fans on the roof. Solar panels would also shade those and help make them more efficient. All of these areas already have a hookup to the grid. Substation may need to be modified but it isn't as dramatic as you make it sound. Also everything has upkeep costs, including oil refineries and power plants.
Thanks for saving me a wasted click. Now it's time to go down a Wikipedia rabbit hole.
Edit: here are some better articles I found that contain a few photos: https://commonplacefacts.com/2026/01/26/transcontinental-airway-system-arrows-2/

The article literally says in the opening sentence that it is an art installation. The article is also from 2013. They just decided to use a click bait headline.
I'm sure they will make it part of the employment contract under the guise of "safety."
Budweiser probably did it. In every grocery store I've seen, the beer vendors set up all the displays.
All chores and errands are done!
I see this is a work of fiction.
In the show, his character even talks about this. He says that after being bitten, the spider instincts took over and he had to learn to be human again. He did this by watching films.
Hollywood just took it from real life. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOtable_Tornado_Observatory
Tate still lied about having contact. If he didn't have any contact, then someone wouldn't have been able to post his words for him. He made similar posts when he was arrested in Romania. This is just a tactic for attention. Hes an abuser trying to make everyone think he's a victim.
