I don't think I have ever actually seen someone talk about Lobster. Because yes, after learning about that font, I started noticing it EVERYWHERE because it's a pretty nice font and is free for commercial use.

    I get why someone may dislike that art style. It's intentionally a bit unsettling, so I understand that someone may not be able to appreciate it. But no, not liking a particular art style doesn't make it a contradiction.
