EA did something good?

And all of the 90s artists agreed to relicense the Road Rash soundtrack music??

I like this feeling, and I can't wait to try the Road Rash remaster.

I don't agree that 'rat poison is necessary'. That would mean by extension that it's necessary to kill all the owls and birds that feed on poisoned rats - a real and current problem due to overuse of rat poison.

There are other effective means of rat control - poisoning is just the cheapest and easiest.

They'll cozy up to the Dems. It's not rocket science. All the corporations pay both parties to further their interests, due to the most idiotic ruling in history: citizens united, which effectively decided that legally in the US, money = speech.

The cleaning thing is a myth btw. Dicks, just like vaginas, don't need to be washed with anything more than some running water and very gentle abrasion (unless they've gotten some large amount of dirt or foreign objects in them). They likewise both have a microbiome, which is modified significantly by circumcision.

I know the link to lower STIs is often brough up as well, but it's got shaky evidence. A recent and very large Danish study found that over "more than three decades of observation, non-therapeutic circumcision in infancy or childhood did not appear to provide protection against HIV or other STIs in males up to the age of 36 years. Rather, non-therapeutic circumcision was associated with higher STI rates overall, particularly for anogenital warts and syphilis."

Any chance for big-business conservatives to scare the uneducated with the boogeymen of regulation and taxation on the wealthy (NBC is owned by Comcast, and is run by Michael Cavenaugh, a former banking and private-equity CEO).

"Five others were also jailed after more than 200 children in Gansu were poisoned by paint used to improve the appearance of canteen food.

Laboratory tests confirmed that the paint – which had been clearly marked as not safe for consumption – contained lead.

Of the 251 children at Peixin Kindergarten, 233 were found to have abnormal blood lead levels while 18 returned tests within the normal range.

Food samples from the kindergarten were found to contain more than 2,000 times the national safe limit for contaminants.

The case, one of the worst food safety scandals involving children for several years, sparked nationwide fury."

Edit - some additional coverage from ABC, illustrating that it was added to "make the food brighter and more appealing to students". https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10-17/kindergarten-staff-jailed-over-lead-poisoning-in-china/107278660

Feels like this would be a good time for China's leadership to catch up to the developed world and ban making lead paint. It's unneccessary and leaves environmental contamination anywhere it's used: a legacy of shit for future generations to clean up (and pay for). And of course - the human lives that are given lasting damage when exposed. All to save a bit of money because lead white paint lasts longer? Shameful.
