I really don't think that's how it works
Doesn't help if you have another browser window open, though you can get the window back from history, at least in Firefox based browsers
Now to see if they'll actually follow through
The proposition, prop 40, seems likely to fail anyway, though... Even if it passes, both props after it, 41 and 42, have to fail, because either of them will effectively cancel 40 even if it passes, and they're sold as things like "protecting your retirement"
This is accurate, because the guy ("wealth") will pick up that taco ("trickled down profits") and eat it too when he's done
Or because there's food cooking in there
This isn't a red flag, it's a red banner parade, holy shit
Holy hell... I was expecting it to be something AI related but Yen is straight up acting like a Musk wannabe. And I was seriously considering a switch to Proton but I think I'm going to bin that idea now
Demands like that from the kind of people who called Obama "Barry" and Biden "Brandon" just make me laugh
They should definitely cancel their best top 10 shows, that'll bring people back for sure
To be fair, "affect" in this story isn't a super common word
As mentioned elsewhere, it's a shortening of "affectation", and is pronounced a fair bit differently: where "affect" like you're thinking has emphasis on the second syllable, the "affect" in the story has it on the first syllable, and even puts the "f" in the first syllable rather than the second.
I'd argue this isn't an exception as this doesn't fit the rule at all, as neither word is being used here, a word that's spelled the same as one of them is causing confusion as it's a fairly uncommon word
