OP had a good example, I'll quote them: "The same thing would be true for people of color or any other marginalized group too. I feel like the situation in the post is pretty similar to if a man was on a date with a women who was white passing, and once he found out she wasn’t actually white was suddenly not attracted to her. I couldn’t read that as any way but racism the same way I can’t read the man she was on a date with going from very attracted to no attraction on a dime as anything but transphobia."

If you're attracted to someone and then find out they're trans and then suddenly aren't attracted to them that's because of transphobia.

Yeah that's annoying and concerning. If someone is attracted to a trans woman and isn't interested after they finds out she's trans for that reason then yeah its transphobic. And also I know tons of trans people that want kids. Plenty of trans people can still have kids and even if they can't you could always adopt if you wanted to make it work.

Maybe he's not into gock and assumed she had one? Really him being into her shouldn't have changed until they talked about bed stuff, not right when she mentioned she trans, cause he doesn't know what's between her legs. If not that then the only thing I could think of is transphobia. Could also just be assumptions and ignorance.

Plus being into a trans girl doesn't automatically make you not a transphobe. Did the guy say he was an "Ally"? He might not have been.

This is what I can remember, I'm not even sure if this movie exists or if I'm just misremembering something. Its a movie where the main character (Maybe has some information someone doesn't want to get out) accidentally (or maybe on purpose by a malicious actor) gets their brain transfered to a (robot? or maybe genetically modified?) worker who's life span only lasts so long before they (genetically? mechanically?) degrade, and the main character has to find a way out of the situation kinda like find a new body is X amount of time.

I'm not sure if that's most of the story or only part of the story of the movie.

This movie has been stuck in my head for a while and I can never remember what it is. I ask y'all if this sounds familiar to any of yall.

Please let me know if you know the name of the movie this sounds like. Thank you.

EDIT: The movie was Xchange (2000). Thank you everyone for your help.
