a lot more bootlickers in this state than you'd expect. yes it's a blue state, but there's a reason nyc has a socialist mayor but not la or sf. capital controls california. it was hollywood, now it's tech.

When I got Discord in 2020, everything about the UI made me think this was a private place with the people on the server. Boy oh boy was I wrong. I use Matrix now for actual gaming and hanging out with friends.
I only maintain my Discord to get updates in big organizations, like union organizing. But even those organizations should think about migrating to Matrix or something similar as soon as possible.

Hasn't there already been precedent that copyright doesn't cover AI generated works? So how to these companies plan on legally selling their games, when it's actually legal to just copy and share them?
