There's only so much you can change urban sprawl. In the US especially, high gas prices just mean people who are middle-class or below can't afford to get to work. Last summer, 6% of my salary after tax went into the commute to and from the office.

I literally stopped shopping at Kroger over this. If you're gonna accuse me of stealing every third item I scan because I use a reusable shopping bag instead of the single-use plastic ones, you aren't getting my business.

I think the only one more over it than me was the poor associate who had to keep signing in to watch videos of me scanning stuff.

I don't understand how anyone who can code worth a damn could think AI codes better or faster than an engineer. Is their entire software engineering team composed of junior devs??

I legitimately don't think I've seen a single human-made piece of software more abysmal than the shit AI writes. You can tell it from a mile away. It looks ugly, performs terribly, and has 50x more code than it needs to get the job done. Irregardless of the morality or cost of the thing, even the frontier LLMs write code worse than a script kiddy slapping Stack Overflow snippets together piecemeal.

This reeks of a manager who took an introductory Python course and now thinks they know all there is to know about programming. The Dunning-Kruger effect is wild.

The sentence may work but it isn't grammatically correct; you'd need either all negatives or all positives.

    It should be either:

... neglected at the cost of poor communication, inefficiencies and unreliability.

    Or:

... neglected at the cost of communication, efficiency and reliability.

Personally to me the latter sounds smooth and the former still feels clunky. If they wanted to highlight the negatives it would be much better to phrase it something like:

... neglected, leading to poor communication, inefficiencies and unreliability.

Though I've generally stopped using "leading to" because it sounds like AI.

What is it to you, honestly? Some people just like cute art even if it's generic. If you don't like it then block and move on.

Also, comparing this to AI slop is incredibly dumb. This kind of negativity is so completely pointless I wonder why you're even here
