First thing they should do is replace their leadership and get some people who actually know how a computer works. Everything else would follow.
It's been less than six months, ffs. Did you seriously expect 16 years of damage to be undone overnight?
Show me "the science".
I really don't understand why people are so quick to dismiss community gardens as nothing more than a hobby. There's actually quite a bit of research showing just how much food you can grow in relatively small spaces.
A 2022 review of 200 studies found that urban agriculture can produce as much, and sometimes considerably more, per square metre than conventional farming. There's also research from Sheffield showing that urban growing could potentially cover more than half of the city's fruit and vegetable needs.
And that's without really getting into what's possible with greenhouses, hydroponics, vertical growing or simply preserving what you harvest.
Of course you're not going to replace an entire supermarket with a few vegetable beds, but why is that even the standard we're using? If a community can grow a meaningful part of its own food and spend less on groceries, isn't that already a pretty good reason to do it?
I find it strange how quickly people jump from "it can't solve everything" to "it's completely pointless."

His name needs to stay. There needs to be a constant reminder of what happened, who let it happen and what the consequences are. Sweeping everything under the rug is the cowards way out,
They do listen to some extent. Not always, obviously, but saying protests are basically useless is just wrong. The CPE was scrapped after protests in 2006, the écotaxe was abandoned after the Bonnets Rouges protests, the fuel tax increase was cancelled after the Yellow Vests, and the government backed down on several measures after the 2024 farmers' protests. You can argue protests do not always succeed, but pretending they achieve nothing just ignores what actually happened.
and how long have they been in trouble already?
Its as if they say that every week now for months. We need to see some consequences
you see, this is why the world will never trust the U.S. again. Even if eventually time does toll for Temu Caesar and he will eventually disappear, his base will always be there in one form or another.
i hate to say it, but i am wiling to bet that it will work. a big part will suddenly go "well ok then" and still vote republican. never mind that the ink wont even be dry by the time they roll back over and do everything cpt orange declares.
