That's not really true. I'm in Europe and saw around 5 joggers on my way to work this morning. I see multiple packs of twenty going past my house at weekends

The big difference between the US and Europe is probably that joggers are happier running near their houses in Europe and don't feel the need to drive to a designated safe space for daily training. This makes the big parks a bit emptier.

The core skill missing from literature and history is curration, how do you grow, prune and organize a collection of books to meet the needs of the community.

Then you've got maintenance, repair and handling of the books themselves which is super important if you're working with rare items.

Finally, most librarians are basically running a community centre filled with children, and you have all the skills and safeguarding concerns that go along with that.

Don't wait for the next laptop, just install Linux now.

It sounds like your laptop is completely unusable anyway, and you can dual boot while you're figuring out if everything works

    What's their end game here?

They want to convince a bunch of religious leaders that they've enslaved a thinking being with a soul and forced it to fill the Internet with spam.

Isn't that worse than it not being conscious?
