Nah, I didn't miss it, I simply think they believe nothing of the sort, but find it a convenient excuse to keep exploiting and abusing others. But they're still not welcome to settle in Israel, greater or not.

We all know it's a bunch of borrowed and blended and rebranded mythology, and Yehoshu'a ben Yosef probably wasa a legendary blend of multiple people. That said, humans were still barely out of the caves by then and the gospels written 100-300 years after the time the events supposedly occurred; and it was still revolutionary thinking for it's time. If anything, we're devolving back into barbarism (as predicted about 150 years ago). Beyond that, thetales furthered an empire trying to take over the world, so there's that.

I remember hrc gloating about the CIA-attempt at fomenting yet another color revolution there, and the brutal repression, that followed. I also remember being more naïve, thinking green spring was a good thing.

Sometimes I lament that I've not done much growing, but when I look back, I realize I may not be where I want to be, but hallelujah, I'm certainly not where I was. It reminds me perhaps I could be a bit more patient with the slow awakening of the rest of the world; and at once, how little time there is, for the global masses and human life, as a whole.

As plays out on various Lemmy instances, one side is celebrated and wins by breaking the rules, while loudly crying about and denouncing any incursion, accidental or intentional, by the other side.

Being a part of the establishment, I don't think this would serve Democrats well, but as they should have been doing all along, they should do everything legally within their power to exercise their own power to effectively serve their constituents.

I remember Democratic leadership saying they would do nothing but let the constituents see how much worse it could get. They played that strategy to the hilt and won big. They know they don't have to do anything for the citizens except be "not Republican."

Like bottled water. When it was first sold in stores, a 20 oz soda was $1.39 and a 20 oz. water was anywhere from $0.25 - $0.50. Then people started choosing the personally (not communally) healthy option, rather than HFCS laden garbage, and now water costs the same as soda.

A store I used to frequent lost a customer because I stopped after work to fill my own cup * with filtered water from the soda fountain. I always ask first, and the clerk said the owner made them start charging the full price of a bottle of water. I used to fill my gas tank there, since they were less expensive. Not now.

My kid didn't pledge allegiance to a rogue, authoritarian regime when they were in school, and we aren't doing it now, as adults. This is so antichristian on every level. Lawsuits will be filed.

Also the evangelists support Israel so hard, but as Christians, could never claim right of return, as citizens of Israel. Only Jews and atheists are permitted to do that.

Are you just a wrecker who hopes voting blue and throwing Molotov cocktails works? The time and energy you expend being angry and making hateful, baseless accusations would do so much more if you would follow the suggestions.

Edit: salty? I reject you projecting your shadow onto me. Return to sender.
