    The iPad Mini physical size is actually useful by itself. The problem isn’t the actual physical screen size, it’s that damn new Liquid Glass design that now wastes so much screen space for no reason at all.

    I’ve had the Mini 2, the Mini 4, and was so happy with them. Last December when I upgraded to the Mini 7, I ws so frustrated with the stupidly small usable area iPadOS 26 left us with, I ended returning the device.

    I’m still sour about it. And MacOS is no better. We now have crazy high resolution on our devices, and it’s now wasted by gimmicky looks.

    OS 27 is at least less buggy, but still frustrating.

    A Consumer Reports, Groundwork Collaborative and More Perfect Union investigation found that some grocery prices differed by as much as 23 percent per item from one Instacart customer to the next. In an inadvertently sent email, the company calls one pricing tactic “smart rounding.”
