Someone just flipped the bottom left spring connector. That plate isn't connected to anything internally as it's just a passthrough for the serial voltage from battery to battery.
Most products that use a lot of power have built in rechargeable batteries, so if you buy something that still uses AA batteries it's probably very low power draw, so don't waste money on expensive batteries.

It's about power, not about gender. People with a lot of experience and resources prey on people who have very little.
If someone is 60 and dating someone who is 30, that's usually ok (a little weird in my opinion tho) cause someone who is 30 is fairly mature and can understand what's going on, and usually has friends, a career, and a lot of stability in their lives.
If someone is 40 and dating someone that's 20... it doesn't matter what the gender mix is... the 20 year old is going to have a lot of trouble pushing back when things are wrong. The 20 year old isn't emotionally, or FINANCIALLY able to break away as easily. It's not misogynistic to say that a very young person (female or male) might end up in a situation they feel like they can't leave.
Please don't use LLMs for therapy. I know it feels like it's helping, but LLMs are specifically designed to tell you what you want to hear. People have been convinced to do some very terrible things because the LLMs keep reinforcing beliefs instead of challenging them or pushing back.
I know everything kind of sucks right now, but don't make it worse by letting the LLM/AI economy start messing with your actual brain.

Just use Epoch time for backend and calculations, and use local time for displaying to the user (or UTC for debugging systems that span time zones)
Or just Unix (epoch) time.
