Republicans will want to distance themselves from Trump. Dems might be able to sway 5 GOP on moderate issues or they risk losing their seats to more Dems in the next election. The pressure is on now. They need to play ball.

Some states can also now join the popular vote compact because now they have dems in control of all 3 parts - house, senate, governor. And that gets us closer to eliminating the electoral college in future elections.

Did you even read their comment? People here illegally want to stay here illegally, so they don't want to do an obvious crime and bring attention to themselves more. Therefore, why would they want to vote.

Unfortunately I don't know how to stop the spending habits of others. Me personally I only buy what I need, not because I can. No fancy car. Once in a while I might splurge but usually on a birthday or Christmas. Part of my frugal is because I don't know the future of the economy. If the market tanks that will affect my 401k too.

Taxing the rich could be a start. Universal healthcare. I'd be fine paying more taxes if it meant everyone was covered. Putting the right people in charge to make these changes. Get rid of the two parties, the electoral college, and use ranked voting. We're close to getting rid of the popular vote, just need some more states to sign on.

I grew up somewhat privileged. We weren't rich, but my family never really wanted for anything growing up. And then I was able to live at home until 25 and pay off my student loans and get a good career with no debt. So the economy doesn't really affect me. I don't live paycheck to paycheck but I'm extremely frugal and I do notice grocery prices increases. That being said I'm 100% progressive and do have sympathy for others and we need to fix this system.

I agree with this being an interesting concept but I was so confused at first. It's not intuitive. I didn't realize I had to pick up the sand. And what are these hearths. It's like there is a backstory that I know nothing about but it's relevant to the game. If you want a game to be successful you need to be able to jump in quickly. Especially with the short attention span nowadays

Part of politics are like this. Like when you hear about people in white house doing terrible things. And you're like who is this guy? "Oh he's the secretary of defense." What's that mean? And soon it feels like if someone was trying to teach me about the people in Keeping up with the Kardashians. Or some other reality show.

But then other ones are like....We are cutting funding for poor people and welfare. And that should be cut and dry.
