Cool to see you on here!

Note to the community :
self promotion is allowed on this community, what we disallowed is excessive self promotion.
Things like multiple post in a short timespan, not disclosing ones link to a specific game, or anything that is made to manipulate the community to make a game look better or more popular that it is really. Sames goes for new account posting ads to games, never to be seen again
So let's check here:
- He disclosed his link to the game : yes
- Posted about it multiple times is a short time : I didn't see anything like that, but feel free to report if it is the case
- Is active : yes
- No suspicious link : yes
In my book, this is 100% legit. No need to report.
That looks amazing.
I wish I liked the overall experience. I don't think you've done anything wrong, quite the opposite, it's just not my genre. I think I got the the first mount & blade on gog and the core loop of the battles just didn't click for me.
The website mentions:
"Realistic Economy
See the availability of goods ebb and flow in a simulated feudal economy, where the price of everything from incense to warhorses fluctuates with supply and demand. Turn anarchy to your advantage by being the first to bring grain to a starving town after a siege or reopening a bandit-plagued caravan route."
But it's relatively hard to find more material online about what that means, what it looks like (UI) and how it works. Can you maybe go into a bit more detail? On the website or maybe a feature trailer or something? Even a recommended creator content thing would be great. I care too much about economy and logistics.
PS: If you played Bannerlord before, you might want to check our giant patch log:

I read War Snails. Now I want War Snails.
Snail-Time Strategy game. Every match takes months and the romance cutscenes are hella gross.
Cool! Are you the team or a employee?
didn't quite get the question, I'm one of leads though👋
I was wondering if you were a whole team account or just a single employee personal account, but you answered it. I love your game!
Haha, no yeah our marketing and support is doing tremendous job everywhere else but they're not aware of Lemmy yet so yeah I'm just an actual developer who loves Lemmy.
Hey, cool to see a M&B dev here. I've played every game and have a ton of hours!
Oh man, the Viking conquest dlc for the original warband is my most played game ever on steam. Gonna have to check this out!
This update is pointless If you can't raid for more butter... He who controls the butter controls Calradia
I'm surprised because I thought the general consensus was the devs have basically abandoned this game.
Yyyyeeeah it might’ve took a bit of time between previous major patch and the current one, but maybe this release shows consenuī doesn’t always holds true. We were simply busy.
Considering how massive the free update is my guess is they've been holding a lot of stuff back but yeah I don't think there's been a lot of updates these past months
Yeah that 1.3 patch looks good, finally some long awaited fixes and quality of life changes.
Bringing it out at the same time as the sea expansion is a bit of a faux pas, but oh well.
I read that as "War Snails" and was soooo excited for 0.25 seconds.
Did ya'll ever implement a more realistic reaction set to executing people? Always thought it was odd that my faction would suddenly hate me for executing the asshole king who had been raiding us for decades, killed my spouse/kids, ate the last grape, and then decided to burn villages to the ground.
Anyway, let us know when the dlc goes on sale for <$5.

The games developers have discovered us and decided we're ripe for advertising to.
Buy! Buy! Buy! Consume! Obey! Do not think! Buy!
I wouldn’t say I’m advertising, I’m an active Lemmy user and just wanted to share smth I’m pretty proud of.
It's all about creating exceptions for yourself. No offense.
I don't hold it against you. I would do the same. But the precedent in which it sets will lead to..... Capitalism.
I'll have to look into this! Husband loves sailing games, might make a good game and dlc to get him!
What a surprise! This looks incredible. I'm gonna have to download it again to give it a spin
Hello, please consider releasing the game for linux
It’s 100% playable on Linux, as a matter of fact I’m playing it on Bazzite right now.
it runs perfectly on proton.
seems like an unnecessary workload for an already busy team of developers
It doesn't anymore... It crashed like 5x today, and that's not including the times where it froze for 5+ minutes and recovered
seems like an unnecessary workload for an already busy team of developers
Personally i would consider releasing the game for consoles more unnecessary. I guess it all boils down to what your goals are
I've been playing the game just fine on Linux for about 50 hours. Idk if a native build would be that useful
FYI, it’s working great for me on Cachy right now.
I personally think that Proton has ended the need for Linux-native builds, but I wouldn’t be opposed to Linux native games that skip Windows entirely.

Sorry, Mordhau's mêlée combat completely surpasses Mount and Blade's for me, I tried Bannerlord but there is simply no going back.
Woah, I didn't know they were making paid DLC for this.
Glad I waited to torrent it. I only download games once they're finished now.
What an insane take on a sailing expansion for Mount and Blade, of all games. Yeah, the medieval field battle and fiefdom game was super incomplete without *checks notes* ship to ship combat??
lol sailing has never been a major part of mount and blade why would it not be a dlc
Kinda wish you guys pulled a hello games and put it out for free, but I also understand the economics and not every dev can do it. I'll buy it when it goes on sale.
