    She’s a damaged teenager and lashing out, dawg.

    She’s not a bad person, she just doesn’t have any other way of protecting herself.

    She’s like the opposite of Shinji, he turtles and she’s attacks.

    What she deserves is a space to grow and learn how to cope, as do all the pilots. But we’ve seen how the show goes…

    She's also the only one that has something resembling an actual character arc.

    Shinji starts and ends the series as a little bitch. Unless you're counting the Rebuilds, and then there's a bit more character development.
