"These things are important now to put clearly on the record and, I believe, help voters in Germany and France understand that some of this politics is instigated via our enemies, namely Russia," the Observer reports Burnham saying.

I mean duhh. This was plain as day when it was happening. Everyone knew it. Same with MAGA same with the catelonia referendum same as Brazil the first time.

And, even if it wasn't, it is an easy scapegoat to galvanize people around. Basic politics.

    ...but it clearly was.

Only Americans are still in denial that Russia has taken over the discourse on commercial social media and are constantly attacking even the freaking fediverse... with all its irrelevance.

I agree, sounds very much like a scapegoat tactic

The last 20 years have made the destabilization of nations through online propaganda, honeypots, bribery and media consolidation extremely easy to see.

They only need a small percentage of gullible/insane people to create chaos and make previously functional institutions into worthless husks.

    Example: FBI, FDA

Has anyone in UK heard of Nigel Farage? Does he have any responsibility, and is some/most of the foreign money propping him up from the US instead?

I'm from Canada. We have foreign interference scare propaganda constantly. The scare is China, Russia, and India sometimes. Never the overt US/Israel first election funding/interference, and we are under current annexation threats from one of these. Deflecting from native traitors with direct CIA/mossad support is SOP for US empire colonies.

that's right comrade, it is the jews we must fear, not the person shown to be behind every fucking psyop campaign that used to be the head of the fucking KGB, no, it's the country that can't even fucking take over a strip without having the entire world shit on them. /s

while 70%+ in all US colonies disapprove of genocidal supremacist fanatics, the rulership/media in all of them is highly supportive of Israel. The theory that Russia is behind making the west deeply hateful as a path to control them into supporting oligarchist militarism including hatred towards Russia, makes little sense, when if they had mind control powers, getting people to demand more services/prosperity through peace would be far more beneficial to Russia. Where rulers/politicians make deals with Russia that you are desperate to hate, it rarely translates into overt geopolitical sympathy towards Russia from that ruler/elite. Geopolitical submission to US/Israel is absolute. Funding is explicit/generous with observable quid pro quo results. Results that directly diminish the people in the colonies. Peace with Russia would not diminish anyone subservient to US empire. But that possibility is a made up political third rail to ensure subservience to usual foreign domination.

Your story would make sense if you assume Russia wants peace.

    Russia wants war.

absurd. since 2014, Russia pursued peace through Minsk accords. Even though nazi US empire signed it hypocritically as a delay tactic for instigating the war, the signing was an explicit admission that Ukraine had a nazi ethnic cleansing problem towards the Donbas. Russia has offered peace condition throughout special military operation. As Blinken admitted, for a war the US totally didn't force upon Russia, "it is a strategic imperative for the US to diminish Russia through continuation of this war".

The cognitive deficit level of those who support the war on Russia is extremely troubling.

This has been known and talked about in the intelligence communities for the longest time. If Brexit had been in scope of the Intelligence and Security Committee Russia report from 2020, this would have been public knowledge then.

So much of the strategy laid out in Foundations of Geopolitics: the geopolitical future of Russia in 1997 has already been implemented, and unfortunately more are in the works

I'm not British, so this is an outsider perspective, but wasn't Brexit a non-binding vote? How the fuck does a non-binding vote pass with 52% of the vote and fuck up so much?

The Tories promised to honor the non-binding vote. If they had overturned the result, they would probably have gotten wiped out in the next election, and that would mean they would no longer be able to do the jobs they enjoy doing.

If they cared about the wellbeing of the country, they wouldn't be Tories.
