Well the cold part is easy to solve, just get to the other side of the planet and it is nice and hot summer.

Am Australian, can confirm. Christmas concerts and NYE fireworks are usually accompanied by pleasant weather. Unless your a Queenslander..

No one even burns a Guy here though. For bonfires you just have to drive out of town in Autumn and there’s plumes of smoke everywhere.
