Interesting map:

All quiet on the eastern front...

Last time you could feasibly organise a protest in that suspiciously white area was 2019. The guy who did it was tortured to death in prison. In 2022 I was exiting the metro station about a kilometer away from a known protest area in Moscow, got detained by police, and beaten so hard I couldn't walk for a week, just because I attended said protests in 2019, and the camera network remembered my face.
That might also be the reason for OP picture I assume

Looks like you don't know where Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania among other countries are.

Don't be coy, we all know what it's in reference to. Especially given that some countries on the list actually have pretty lively political activity

No idea what you're talking about. I showed map with bunch of EU countries unaffected by current unrest and you started talking about Russia. You're either not great at geography or you don't understand people in Europe have different priorities than people in Russia.

I mean, Russia sure, people don't want to end up in Siberia. But I wonder why Poland, Austria and friends are so empty. Surely Austrian police isn't worse than fucking Spanish? Also, there is a suspiciously England-shaped hole.

    Two options:

    • things are so good there they don't see the need to protest

    • things were so bad for so long that current crisis didn't make much impact yet

But seriously, I think it's a mix of those two. Some things are terrible but were bad for so long people got used to it and lost hope it will get better (like healthcare and corruption in Poland). Other things actually got a lot better over the last couple of decades (like salaries in Poland).
