Where the fuck are the fucking Democrats springing into action?

Neoliberals are conservatives. That's how we ended up here.

Conservatism is fascism and it has infested both parties. Allowing conservatives to continue existing among us will always lead to fascism.

Our push to the left must be merciless and unending. Normally, peace cannot cure fascism. We must accept that violence may be necessary to survive this.

Yup. When is the last time we saw dem leadership organize the party effectively, or release meaningful pushback to culture war rhetoric? It’s nada all the time with these clowns. Fucking Schumer and Jeffries apply all their efforts to serving billionaires and are happy to be unpopular as long as they get to lead the losing party. I’m sick to death of hearing how brilliantly Pelosi handled Republicans during her tenure— she literally fucking led us right to where we are now. Fuck anyone who serves billionaire interests.

The normal people disagree with your defense of conservatism. Conservatives are pure evil and should be dealt with as such. Your insults only add to my motivation to erase them.

Funny you would suggest that specific activity. I have donated my time at food pantries. Many, many times. One thing I've noticed there is a distinct lack of conservative volunteers.

Conservatives are biologically unable to experience empathy for others. This is why conservatives are almost never found giving their time to the vulnerable unless there is something in it for themselves (ex: church cred, entry to heaven, free food).

Conservatives' inability to experience empathy is also why their relationships are so shallow. For example, a conservative male sees his family as his property. He loves his wife the way a teenager loves a sportscar. He cannot develop a deep personal affection for his wife because that requires empathy.

A conservative's lack of ability to experience empathy is also why bigotry comes so easily to conservatives. It's why genocide is so easily supported by conservatives. It's why conservative policy so consistently harms the vulnerable.

If you are not a conservative, you really shouldn't defend them. They will never humanize you. Never. They don't even humanize each other. They simply can't.

I disagree. The left should not keep our thoughts to ourselves.

Turning the other cheek over and over again is how we ended up with conservatives building concentration camps in the U.S. The time for us to speak loudly and be heard is right now.

I notice your weak defense of conservatives lacks examples or evidence to support your claims that conservatives can experience empathy.

Perhaps you can tell me what I should say to conservatives in my debates when they tell me "empathy is fake". That's a fairly common defense from conservatives against my position that they cannot experience empathy. Should I tell them they are wrong and they can experience it?! 🤣

Your study does not address the conservative's lack of empathy. At all. In fact, if anything, it supports my position regarding conservative "love" being related to their positive expressions of ownership.

After reading your cited study, it's no wonder conservatives are so quick to disown their family members for being LGBTQ or for having interracial relationships. It's also no wonder conservatives will so often "trade in" their spouse for a younger model without any expression of loss. It seems conservative "love" really is shallow.

Look, no progressive is going to be fooled by your gaslighting that conservatives are empathetic and caring when ALL of our life experiences with conservatives show the exact opposite. Even conservatives themselves openly despise empathy, calling it "woke", "imaginary", "weakness" or "sinful". The enemy you are defending openly and proudly disagrees with your defense.

Conservatives will not spare you from the camps just because you argued in their favor. They will eventually turn on you as well. It's just the nature of conservatism. They need an enemy, and you will eventually be in that group if they continue to grow in power.

Every word uttered by a conservative is deception or manipulation. I am not fooled by you pretending conservative violence upon the vulnerable is "imaginary". You know we (the normal people) can see it, right? We document it in video and share it on social media. All while conservative propagandists and apologists lie incessantly, trying to gaslight the population to disbelieve our eyes and ears. Your lies are tiresome and weak.

You have not convinced me to alter my views about how conservatives/fascists should be dealt with. Not even a little. In fact, the more you squirm and post weak deceptions, the more confident I become in my understanding of my enemy.

Sounds like something a conservative would say. Picking a random psych diagnosis out of a hat because conservatives don't value psychology... then pretending to care that someone would get the help they need when conservatives are biologically unable to care about the well-being of others.

You could have outsourced that attempted insult to Grok! 🤣

Let me try one... You seem to suffer from a pathological need to lie. I hope you get the treatment you voted for.

    How'd I do? 😆

Lol wtf does some random article from 2019 have to do with today?

"Right now, Democrats have no power to do anything but talk about the thing that happened this week, and they are talking"

"Well SEVEN YEARS AGO they criticized the lady they're talking about now!! On a topic that ha nothing to do with her immigration status, which is currently being discussed. EVIIIL"

Genuine question, not trying to be insulting: are you stupid?

I believe the point OP is trying to make is that they have no problem calling her out, but won't come to her defense. Why? Because they actually answer to corporate interests, and what's happening to her now doesn't matter to those interests.

If their corporate donors called them and expressed their concern, you better believe they would have a press conference and be all over the Sunday political bs shows talking about it.

During the Uvalde shooting, did it not upset you that the police stood around doing nothing? Even as the minority party, the Democrats have some power they can exert. At the very least, they can make a big stink about the situation. When the Republicans inevitably obstruct them, the Dems can highlight how the Republicans are obstructing justice.

Instead, what we've seen the Democratic party do time and time again is just sit on their hands, defeated. Rolling over like dogs, unwilling to even appear to care. Hiding away and hoping nobody notices them standing off to the side.

Yes, obviously people are upset when the Republicans do something bad. They want the Republicans to be held to account. The people that should be holding them to account is the oppositional party and the Democrats aren't doing that.

Omar does have people fighting on her side. As my Nation colleague John Nichols reports, she remains popular with her constituents in Minnesota, and the state’s Democratic Party has rallied to her side. House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries decried Trump’s “vile personal attacks” and the fact that Trump’s “violent mass deportation machine has descended upon the home of a duly elected Member of Congress and her family.” Even former Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene was critical of Trump. In a post on X.com, Greene asked how “pretending to get ready to deport Ilhan Omar is going to bring gas down under $2, make health insurance freaking affordable, make a family’s weekly grocery bill make sense, and stop sending our beloved military off to fight for another fucking foreign war???”

Greene’s pointed rebuke of Trump stands in sharp contrast to Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, who in the five days since the raid has yet to say one word in defense of Omar.

    https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/ilhan-omar-raid-trump-reaction/

But there are people speaking up for her within the democrats and the media is right lit up about this right now.

Your comparison to the Uvalde shooting is bullshit because the cops there not only didn't do anything but they actively held people back who were trying to help too.

I agree that it is good that Jeffries is speaking out in defense of Omar, but I would argue that the only reason he is defending his progressive colleague is because he's been recieving a bunch of pressure to do so. It is very obvious why the leader of the party is not defending Omar; it's because of the progressive ideals she espouses.

Leftists need to continue pressuring the Dems apparently for them to do the basics of their job. I see no reason why Jeffries would defend Omar without having experienced the pressure and criticism. He and the other Establishment Democrats in leadership positions have been actively sabotaging and holding back their progressive flank.

Don't move the goalposts you compared the democrat's reaction to the raid of Omar to be the same as the police response to Uvalde shooting.

    Which is bullshit.

Hakeem Jeffries saying, "This is bad y'all" is the same as police showing up to a shooting and playing Candy Crush on their phones. I want Hakeem Jeffries to pledge launching an investigation and using whatever power his party has, even if it ends in the president pardoning the people responsible. Just like I wanted the police to storm into the school and take down the shooter killing children. I want action being done.

I want the ranking Dem member on every committee to conduct inquiries. Make a billion motions, cast votes, debate, whatever to result in some kind of legislative action. Hold formal proceedings, conduct investigations, subpoena people.

I want the Democrats to launch Benghazi style investigations like the Republicans did that helped tank Hillary Clinton's presidential run. The only difference being that there is actual wrongdoing here.

Well, it's gonna take about 20-30 years to build up a media empire specifically designed to move democrat's messaging into every single house in america first. That's if people with communications degrees start becoming democrats.
