I think FT will find that it’s not poaching; that’s just where the educators fleeing the US landed.

Canada’s not trying to woo US educators to Canada; they’re trying to be more attractive than Germany and China to those already leaving.

But as this trade war ramps up, we’re going to see an increase in this “Canada stealing our rhetoric out of US media.

    Probably on some things, even if it's blatantly false. However, I don't see "Canada is stealing our scientists/researchers/academics" as being of concern to a large part of the US voting base.

    Seems like they would consider it 'owning the libs'.
