You can get a copy of Reign the Final Battle Royal for like $5, might give you some more components to have fun with

You could also look at Fluxx for inspo, its a game were players add rules as you go. You could do something similar ie new rule you can use monopoly money to buy risk countries.

The worst thing a crowd funded campaign can do is stop talking. I have a book that is something like 2 years overdue and we (as a whole, the backers) don't care, because we're being talked to about the process, including hardships. Life happens. I've had a different one go silent sure to similar ish hardships and the community turned on them.

Even when gtg was going through severe staff reductions (three people were left) due to a parent company downsizing, the owner was still posting monthly, with things like "no new progress, I have no information from the parent company."

Tldr Updates are critical, especially when the news sucks.

Add the pillbug for maximum complexity, hoist that queen right out of the muck

now that i took a 2nd look, maybe the pillbug can't help here ☞

The Pillbug CANNOT move a piece through a too-narrow gap of stacked pieces (violating the Freedom to Move Rule).

This game fucking rules. I have the pocket version always in the console of my truck. Games play in ten minutes or less if you know what you're doing. There's no better diner game IMO.

    "dinner game" :)

it helps when you can wash the pieces
