How long before the billionaires ban surgical methods of birth control, too?

Hysterectomies are notoriously difficult to get without husband's permission in the US. Even when the person trying to yeet their uterus needs it gone for medical reasons. Not a long shot to see it attempted yet within Trump's two years left.

As for stopping men from getting vasectomies? Lol, yeah right.

He might have a multi-series deal with Apple, that's not uncommon. I just watched Dan Levy's latest comedy which is part of a multi-series deal he has with Netflix. Mike Flanagan had the same with Netflix, now he's mid-deal with Amazon I think it is, whatever platform Carrie came out on.

User Tags. I skim right past when I see a wave of posts from the same user tagged profile. I use red tags for "do not engage" and yellow for "comment with caution". This is my alternate approach to reporting them (assuming they haven't really broken a rule or when the mods aren't active) or to blocking them (not enough users on Lemmy for that, I only block bots and fully public Nazis/pedos).

It's been a few years since she passed, everyone has had a chance to pick out anything they want to keep. Photos and diaries still left have been digitized and shared with any family member who want copies.

I'm actually first to toss physical nostalgic memorabilia, which is why everything ended up with me; other family members want me to make the stuff go away without having to trash it themselves. I accept my family role. Just the idea of doing geneology as a hobby gives me hives, that is absolutely not me or my personality. I think it is super cool and support other people enjoying it, thank goodness everyone is not like me.

I appreciate the offer to take a look, but I'm not going to share the things through Lemmy. I keep this account pseudonymous.

Welllll, the Bible does tell of how God uses the rape of innocent women to punish their sinful husband. So if Brand's the flavor of Christian that believes the Bible contains an accurate representation of God's character, then Brand is acting perfectly in line with being a Christian.

2 Samuel 12:11, David has slept with another man's wife and then killed the man, God says he will have David's wives (concubines) raped in public to punish him:

Thus says the Lord, > ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you from your own household; I will even take your wives before your eyes and give them to your companion, and he will lie with your wives in broad daylight.

He doesn't just condone rape or allow for it to happen, he actively makes it happen "I will raise up evil against you [...] I will take your wives before your eyes".

    Reason 725 I deconstructed.

I have the flexibility to work from home damn near anytime I please, so I plan to avoid the office this week. It's a Midwestern manufacturing facility, so my average coworker is male and decades older than me.

Most are nice to my face, I don't want to hear them spout racist, bigoted garbage.

Towards Portland and Seattle, the Democratic party Promised Land. I hear they let homeless people ramble about free range, gay people are allowed anywhere, and they have a preference for independently produced music over major labels. The Wild West of leftist debauchery and godlessness.

I assume Democratic party arrows point left to align with the simple left/right political binary.

I've seen gender neutral bathrooms but I don't think I've seen bathrooms for trans people specifically. Well, that's inefficient; trans folk make up, what, 1% of the population if rounding up?

I could also see some might feel "outed" by having to use them, instead of any and all using a gender neutral option well-designed for privacy. Trans peeps get the same access as everyone else, my cis woman self also wins by having bathroom cubicles that don't have an inch-wide gap around the door. (I think this is what intersectional allyship looks like 🌈🙌, /s sorta)

    Favorite color, book, movie, etc.

I arbitrarily decided green is my favorite color just so I could answer icebreakers without looking like a personality-less weirdo. But really, I don't care and don't really understand having a "favorite".

Books, movies, other medias, I understand a bit more but still don't have any of my own. I rarely re-read or re-watch anything. And the things I do re-watch (mostly Halloween or Christmas season stuff) aren't my favorite overall, just for the applicable season. I can't recall the last book I re-read.

We use Customer Information to provide our Services as directed by our Customers. Depending on the Service this may include:

This means you need the policy from the school itself so you know what's actually been agreed to that is applicable to your kid's data.

Communicating with you about Services that may be of interest to you.

Meaning they can sell your data to any who will pay for it.

In the event of a corporate transaction. In the event of a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale or other disposition of all or any portion of our business or assets, we may share Customer Information with acquirers and other relevant participants in the transaction.

Meaning they can pull a 23andMe; if they go bankrupt or whatever, they can sell your data and the buyers can do whatever they want with it.

I'd be defaulting to not allowing my kid's name to be entered into the program, with a steep uphill challenge to convince me with a very robust contract-specific privacy plan. A single, generic pass than any kid might be using at any given time, I'm still fine with that but no individual-assigned tags that get associated with my kid.
