I need to revisit FreeSpace.

It holds an absolutely sacred place in my heart, coming out during my formative pre-teen years with its gut wrenching space opera story and sci-fi set pieces. I can still hear the voice of Terran Command, crystal clear.

FSOpen and the Hardlight forums put together some absolutely beautiful work in modernizing the engine that I never got to truly appreciate in my university years because no joystick could hold a candle to the Logitech Wingman Interceptor that I cut my teeth on.

But now, now I am an adult. I have a modicum of disposal income and an even smaller portion of free time, but I can make this happen. I can take on the Shivans again.

...perhaps on Easy.

That's because reviewers have the product for all of a day and draw conclusions from a very brief interaction.

Edit- which the write up does say, near the bottom.

    I've a Lenovo 7i Slim with a 258v, and it only reports having S2idle, no S3.

15-18% per day sounds about right, which makes 2-3 days on sleep a risk unless I'm folding it up at near full battery (and I generally cap charging to 80%).

I had an Asus ProArt 13 that ran a Ryzen 370 HX with a 4060 and that thing was at critical levels after a day and a half.

Yes, I know snapseed is a mobile app, but that's the kind of simplicity I'm looking for. Pre-made filters, an auto-fix button, adjustment sliders, etc.

I have image toolbox on mobile and even that's a bit over the top with option (and I still haven't found sliders for brightness, contrast, saturation, shadows etc in that maze).

Linux or Windows programs are fine, I run both.

I'm looking to set up personal mail using my own domain, and Purelymail's model/pricing works great for my intended usage (a couple mailboxes on different domains). Unfortunately, I am not so excited about where it is domiciled.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an alternative that offers similar pricing/features, but run out of a more privacy respecting country? Or, failing that, out of Canada so at least my few dollars stay locale.

Migadu doesn't fit the bill, as there are days I send more than 20 emails - putting me on the 90 USD/year tier for which I could get Infomaniak's mail service for 2 users at ~40€/year.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
