Transformer, Velcro, and fucking glow in the dark? Jen better be sharing that shit
There's kids that don't know what the save icon is and wouldn't know what you're talking about if you mention the pound sign
Wtf my car still has these and its from 2007. And 2007 was only 2 years ago so.
My province just did this. we have our own time now but go make it extra confusing we are called PCT instead of PST. And outlook fucked every single person's meetings on Nov 1.
This and also the many (disproportionately black&racialized) people on death row who had unfair trials or were falsely accused.
We have visible and open proof of the CEOs damage to humanity and guilt.
Okay I was just thinking cause it felt so recent that horrible woman made the big fucking show about the ONE trans woman that was elected last time. And now look at all these beautiful trans folk!
I had a partner very similar to this. I'm sorry but my advice is to gtfo. My last straw was receiving selfies asking how he looked as I watched my aunt dying of cancer.
This person is either a narcissist or emotionally immature, and neither are favourable traits that can be "fixed" in any way externally.
Trump released the floodgates for conservatism and bigoted views. Trump gave my politicians, as a Canadian, an excuse to act against all social and environmental welfare in the name of this fucking ridiculous trade war. The democrats aren't going to do shit to reverse the damage that's been done in my country.
While I'm happy that people might suffer less in the US (I won't hold my breath), the apathy, complacency, and outright hatred that created this situation has spread like a fucking virus and I will not forgive for that.
Yes I did mean veg and fruit, but I mean that obviously we need to eat but we need to do it in a sustainable and fair way.
Currently a lot of the produce in Canada & the US is grown by migrant labour where people are treated horribly. In Mexico, many of the agricultural production sites are owned by cartels. Quinoa used to be a primary food source for quechuan (peruvian indigenous) people but when it grew in popularity in the west, it became too expensive for those who depended on it. There are many more examples.
What there is to do about it is to demand better agricultural practices and support fair-trade, co-ops, and sustainable food vendors. In the same way we should be / are demanding cruelty-free and sustainable animal products.
This is a super hot take so bare with me, but the conditions of a lot of vegan food production are also often harmful to the humans that grow the food (I'm talking blood produce) and the growth in popularity of certain superfoods have severely damaged the ecosystems that indigenous populations in the areas where they're from depended on.
This is not to say being vegan is bad. It's obviously proven to be better for the environment, and the way that animals are treated is absolutely inhumane.
This is to say however that we should be demanding sustainability in all our food consumption and respect for all living beings. But mostly, it's to say fuck capitalism.
Local office is scary easy to run for, and after following my municipal election more closely than I ever have before, I can tell you a lot of fucking weirdos run and win local office. Pay attention to your local politics, people.
