Good to see Leftovers makes it. Im surprised I cant see The Killing, a truly immense show. Also slight possible guy bias, Im surprised Damages didn't make it. Also where is Utopia? Its a classic. None of these shows are obscure, theyre all mainstream. So Idagree with others on recency bias.

Yes you're right, but bridgey fed is reasonably effective. I share all my mastodon posts into BS via that but BS has a 300 char limit which is miserly so cuts them off a bit. I agree totally that AT should be more easily compatible with Activity Pub but the tech is slightly different. There are people in AP dev circles who think AT is more efficient and versatile but I wouldn't know.

This is why RSS is/was so important. RSS readers curate what a user wants to catch up on or follow, right from the sources. Having your own reader (not Feedly, its too big really) means you choose who to directly follow. You click through to them. Back in the day Technorati provided what was trending and big headlines r busy hashtags. So a kind of watchtower. All links went directly to the original content.

Bluesky accts federate with mastodon and vice versa. Not sure about other fediverse apps.

Ive used Brave for about 2 years. Its great. I have everything turned off, and all shields up, plus deactivated 'Leo' AI. Whats not to like?
