I have now found 1070 verified accounts from media organizations in the #Fediverse, but only on #Mastodon, #Flipboard, #Threads, #Bluesky, #Ghost and #Peertube. Just one is on #Sharkey (๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป @heiseBotti) and none on #Pixelfed, #Lemmy, #Piefed, #Misskey & Co. Are there really none there, or did I miss some?Source: fingolas.eu/fediverse/overview@fediverse

@stig I really do not see how your assertion is accurate. Bluesky uses the AT protocol while the Fediverse uses the ActivityPub protocol. While Meta has connected Threads to the Fediverse via ActivityPub, Bluesky is not connected to the Fediverse. Only way I know create some some exchange between Bluesky and Mastodon is thru the 3rd-party platform Bridgy Fed.

Yes you're right, but bridgey fed is reasonably effective. I share all my mastodon posts into BS via that but BS has a 300 char limit which is miserly so cuts them off a bit. I agree totally that AT should be more easily compatible with Activity Pub but the tech is slightly different. There are people in AP dev circles who think AT is more efficient and versatile but I wouldn't know.
