One question, from what I understand the papers that aftergleam suggests are most (if not all) aren't peer reviewed.
Does it provide peer-reviewed articles? If yes, is there an indicator to know?

What? I don't get it
That'd be great. "Programming" is a part of compsci and by itself, it's pretty limited if you ask me.
There's also !compsci@lemmy.world
Jami has so so much potential. I really root for it. Offline p2p LAN messengers are so important and useful.
Script kiddies are like "eww Java", but this is actually great. If it's output and runtime are performant and not overly bloated this can be pretty awesome. Bringing the gigantic amount of pre-existing Java software to the browser. I would like to see comparisons with Go's WASM
What is the required hardware?
what an awesome app
Proton is a mess
Oof 605 is 270 Kg in proper units if I'm right. That's so awesome. I'll be trying to hit 200kg this summer.
that's actually poetry
(best-syntax? '(lisp clojure))
;; => true
On of my phones has android 8 and I honestly couldn't care less from a usage standpoint
I don't see the part where it's a dagger.
Awesome work nonetheless.
Honestly no.
How do you join a channel? How to start private message? How to setup e2ee? How do I recieve messages when I'm offline (bouncer)? how do I send files/images/video? There's lots of things to learn, understand and setup
I love IRC but it's absolutely not usabale for non-tech people
This was awesome! as a huge FP fan, I hadn't heard of Roc. It seems pretty amazing. The systems-level FP language. Can we test it against common lisp and haskell also?
I think we're saying the same thing.
I also believe one should not make professional decisions based on these things. But if the person just keeps these messed up things to themselve in their free time and doesn't mix it with the project/profession I can mostly tolerate that.
So we become intolerant to intolerance? This is the perfect never ending loop!
An individual's personal beliefs has nothing with their profession. Unless they leak it into their profession. Now the profession has that ideology and we can address that. The person, and especially as long as it's just words and tweets etc, is separate from the work.
Anyway, this is my unpopular opinion.
