It's taken them years to get one non-pixel device supported, and that's not even out yet. Another device that I've heard nothing about? What makes you think there's any chance at all?

Almost no usernames I actually recognised (but it's not like I'm memorising everyone, and people are allowed to just lurk if they want) so yeah that's what I'm assuming. Still, OP cared and was happy to discuss an actual realistic solution and that's much more important than drive-by comments.

Green described how a woman had "thrown him" to safety into a toilet, who subsequently joked: "I don't usually get in with men who I just met in the toilet".

Even in crisis we still make jokes, "keep calm and carry on" became a meme for a reason

Yeah it's a real mixed bag. It's playable via steam input (or whatever the process is when I play these on the steam deck), but I always find an analogue stick emulating mouse aiming is all over the place for instance.

Dummy ER is a ragdoll sandbox set in a hospital: break crash-test dummy 07, then find out what you broke and fix it.

07 has a real skeleton inside him (71 bones), plus organs, arteries and veins. When a bone breaks hard enough, the game slows down and shows it snapping on an X-ray.

The world is gone. The deliveries must continue.

In 1848, something beneath the Earth awakened. A living fog swallowed the surface, leaving humanity’s survivors sheltering in underground settlements. Beyond their doors, fear takes physical form.

    FIGHT FOR YOUR FREEDOM

In the future, even death can’t free you. If a criminal dies while serving their sentence, they are reconstructed to return to their suffering. And you’re serving a 1300-year sentence. The only way to shorten this sentence? Win on “The Last Ticket.” The rules are simple: there is a shuttle on the roof of the prison, and if you can fight your way through hordes of other inmates and reach it in time, you will be given your freedom.

    NO COMPROMISES

KIBORG is a hybrid of old-school beat’em ups, shooters, and rogue-likes. The fights are fast, brutal, and deadly. Sever limbs, squash heads, and tear cybernetic cores apart from living foes. There are dozens of enemy types with unique abilities and tactics, and they are mixed and matched to create hundreds of challenging encounters. If you’re here for blood and gore, you’ve come to the right place.

    IMMENSE BUILD VARIETY

Replace your body parts with an array of cybernetic implants, enabling a wide variety of playstyles. Experiment with hundreds of power-enhancing augmentations and apply dozens of mutations to create deadly synergies. Wield a variety of melee weapons and firearms of all types. Use combos and special attacks to devastate your foes. Unleash millions of possible combinations and countless potential viable builds to destroy those standing between you and freedom.

Plant a flag. Draw your first house. Watch a handful of settlers grow a village into a town, while winter, hunger, raiders and rival factions do their best to stop you.

Kinstead is an isometric medieval colony builder. You don't micromanage units: you shape a place where people live and work, and the stories come from what they do.

    Features

    • Draw it, they build it. Drag out walls, rooms and zones, then add doors, furniture, roads and defences. Your settlers haul the materials and do the building themselves. Every construction site shows what it still needs and how far along it is.

    • People, not units. Every settler has skills, traits, moods, needs, a body that can be wounded and a daily schedule you can edit. Four peoples (human, dwarf, elf and serpentfolk) work differently. Keep them fed, housed, healthy and busy, or watch what happens when they break.

    • Farm, craft, trade. Fields, pastures (milk, wool, eggs, meat), hunting, fishing, mines, mills, bakeries, breweries, weavers, smokehouses and kitchens. Storage with filters and priorities, food that spoils, roads that really make people faster.

    • Research through the ages. A large research tree: Knowledge from libraries, Innovation from laboratories. Unlock buildings and recipes, then upgrade them over several levels.

    • Seasons, weather, night. The land changes with the year, and winter is not decoration. Wolves and boars roam, and pirates come for what you have built.

    • Defend your home. Barricades, spike traps, crossbow towers, an alarm bell, and a militia you can train, equip and organise into divisions.

    • Battles with morale. Divisions fight as blocks: charges, flanking, archers, formations. A line that breaks drags its neighbours with it.

    • A living world. Choose your site on a generated world with biomes, climate, rivers and ore. AI factions declare wars, trade by caravan, conquer cities and collapse. Send caravans, raise an army, take a city, and be remembered for it.

    • Your own story. Quests, visitors, merchants, pilgrims and strangers asking to join. Start scenarios and rule modifiers, shareable map seeds, achievements and a banner you design yourself.

    • English and Romanian, with music and ambience that follow the mood of the day.

    Early version: what to expect

Kinstead is in active development and this is an early public version. The core is playable: founding a colony, building, farming, research, raids and the world map. Expect rough edges, unfinished corners, balance changes and bugs. Tell me what you run into; your feedback decides what gets fixed first.

I don't know if there have just been a load of game jams recently or if everyone's feeling extra spooky for the Halloween sale, but there's a frankly ridiculously large number of games being given away in the next couple of days:

The house is still. A wind murmurs quietly outside and darkness creeps around every corner of the home. You play as Dom.0V0Y Model 2.36, a robotic vacuum cleaner tasked with maintaining cleanliness and chasing dust away. You are alone. And you must clean the house before morning.

The house is still, you are alone, and you must clean.

Asleep is a psychological horror adventure set in the Brazilian Northeast of the 90s, and with a unique artistic look, ranging from detailed pixel art to fluid animations. "Act 1" is the first episode of Ana Lúcia's story, a lonely and confused girl, lost in her nightmares, and immersed in a disturbing reality.

With not much information, and a mind flirting with insanity, the player must join her to unravel what is happening in her universe, collecting clues in her sketchbook and solving puzzles. Armed only with a flashlight to illuminate the path, and wit to survive the enemies always lurking in the darkness.

Turn to your flashlight and the ambient lighting to survive, using light to find new items and places, and even to attract or avoid enemies. Different monsters react differently to light! With your flashlight in hand, use stealth mechanics to escape dangers while learning to deal with each threat.

Avoid staying in the dark for too long, as it will cause the protagonist's sanity to deteriorate, leaving her anxious and attracting more dangers. The longer in the darkness, the more chaotic Ana Lúcia's nightmares become.

Explore point-and-click mechanics to solve puzzles, flee from monsters like in classic survival horrors, and navigate the environment through Asleep's platforming elements. All while experiencing the game's dark atmosphere by exploring the highly detailed 2D environments developed in pixel art.

    And more:

    • Travel between two versions of the game's universe, encountering an even darker and more hostile side of it
    • Collect documents, items, and clues to unravel the dark mysteries of the plot
    • Dense narrative with some choices and collectibles that can unlock secret memories
    • Story divided into chapters, with Act 1 being the first part of the game - Act 2 now available as DLC!
