This kind of post gets made every year.

The general consensus among adults is that they no longer trust having their kids walk onto a stranger's property, even if it is Halloween. A lower yet still large percentage now drive their kids around instead of walking, and with gas prices being so high, they won't do that either.

In the end they just feel like it isn't safe anymore.

Speed is not a good quantifier for industry success. Speed to market might get you some initial customers, but speed alone won't keep them. If your product is junky, slow, and insecure you are going to lose those customers you had, and potentially open yourself up to lawsuits in the process.

The things that matter more to long term success and sustainability are all the things AI is not.

My torrent client is running in docker on my NAS, so running it outside of docker is a no-go. I switched back to my old setup of using a docker container that combines both qbittorrent and openvpn in the same container. Smooth sailing with no hitches at all. I can't share the VPN across containers anymore, but qbittorrent was the only container that actually needed it.

Maybe I'll get it working one day. Today is just not that day.

One of my college professors did this.

"For 2 points, draw anything on the top of your test next to your name."

He's the only professor that I actually learned something from and was worth the money.

The taste that coffee adds to things is great, and the smell is amazing. A bad brew tastes like bitter dirt water and has the same effect on your stomach. I've never had a good black brew in my life.

I do love me some coffee milk, but at that point we are right back to coffee adding flavor to things, not being good itself.
