    I'm no contact with my conservative relatives. My family is shattered over politics and will never have a large family gathering ever again.

    You don’t need to do the establishment’s job for them by loudly attacking him anytime you see his name pop up.

    On lemmy i'm probably going to talk shit about any streamer that makes the main page. I don't think people should give streamers any sort of attention, for the most part. I hate seeing it

    I'm morbidly facinated lately by the h3 drama though because fuck all those people haha

    I don't think he had much effect on the election like you think. Most walmart americans don't have any idea who he is

    I personally dislike him because I think he's a hypocrite

    I can't say I like any streamers tbh and I think the entire platform is brain rot and bad for youth as whole

    If he influenced people to vote progressive then kudos for that, but I still don't like him, I am sorry

    I'm not really that upset about conservatives winning overall but this makes me physically sick and is my single most important issue when it comes to my vote. It's true they are going to cut it all and it's not just a tragedy for BC but for the entire world. These ecosystems are some of the rarest on earth with thousands of endemic species. These forests, while small in numbers, still act as a buffer for climate change.

    I'll hopefully see you guys on the frontlines with me at Central Walbran this spring. They arrested 500 of us before giving up last time and it's going to take a lot more of us holding the line this time.

    In 1993 nearly 900 people were arrested at the Clayoquot protests and we can do it again. The facts are all there that those trees have made more money in tourism already than if they were cut down in the 90s.

    Most conservative voters are christians, and to me, the cutting of these forests would be the equivalent of burning down their churches. This goes against every part of my worldview and I will risk everything to prevent it.

    Just toying with the idea here. I am thinking about proposing in the next year and I never expected I would be in this position.

    My sister was just proposed to and dude must have spent like 10 grand on the ring. I think she feels like he spent too much. It looks like the friggin thing weighs her whole hand down.
