Much smarter people will need to work out the details, but I think that closing the capital gains loophole would be a good start. Basically, if a person wants to leverage their stocks to take out a loan, then they get taxed on that amount. We can have a minimum amount before it kicks in such as a million dollars to allow small business loans and other things to still occur.

I understand we can't tax peoples unrealized assets, but it's bullshit that unrealized assets can then also be used to gain real monetary value.

This sounds neat but I am frustrated that it didn't cover the mechanism by which organic waste helps with de-icing. Is it a chemical reaction? Or something to do with the fibers? Even WSUs article doesn't really explain it.https://news.wsu.edu/news/2019/12/02/sustaining-roads-grape-agricultural-waste/

1st, do not power the fan from the pi if possible to avoid any underpower headaches. It should be fine.

Your best bet is to just power it at 5v using a standard USB wall wart and a sacrificial USB cable (old 2.0 ones work best). Strip the USB cable and expose the positive and negative wires and hook them up to the positive and negative fan pins (identify these using a 4pin fan header diagram). You can either try just shoving the tips of the USB cable into the fan header using electrical tape as a quick bodge, or cut and strip the fan cables and twist them together.

I dual booted fedora kde 2 months ago with an AMD GPU and it has worked just as well as windows 11. There were some initial setup options I had to enable for proprietary drivers, but aside from that it has been solid. A few glitches here and there, but about the same as windows 11. I also went into this committing to not use the terminal, and so far I have been successful.

So the same companies that outsourced everything and cut local suppliers to the point that they shut down are now complaining about not having local suppliers or modern infrastructure? Talk about being short sighted.

You just stick the magnetic backing to the existing glass plate for flatness and rigidity. You might have to bump the heated temp 1 or 2 degrees to compensate for the additional thickness, and you may lose a couple of mm/s of print speed at the high end due to the additional weight. That said, it is a very cheap and easy to execute option.

That's what they are saying. Buy a PEI plate with a magnetic backing, remove the rest of the abs from your glass build plate and stick the magnetic pad on it. Then the pei goes on top.

I did this as an upgrade to my own printer.
