As an Italian there’s a thing I don’t understand: Bancomat is both a very well known card circuit (like CB in France) and a virtually unknown and unused payment app. From what I know, all the other parties are payment apps. Do they want to handle POS payments only as app payments or are we going to create an European card circuit? That would be nice!

No, Bancomat Pay doesn’t work like this. It’s more like an overlay over SEPA, from what I’ve seen. My bank sends me statements every time I use it (😂) as if it was a wire transfer.

Edit: GNU Taler works kinda like Satispay (well, like a wallet) but that would be fine for me

The good thing is that almost everyone already has Bancomat Pay without realising it. You just have to activate it with the app.

Edit: they are saying in the press release that everyone is welcome on board and I suspect that Satispay is not too keen to join

Edit 2 (more context): Many stores accept Satispay, but I’d doubt that there are many who know about Bancomat Pay. I’ve seen mainly in self checkouts at supermarkets. Also, Satispay has a developer website, but I haven’t been able to find one for Bancomat Pay

I’m looking for storage classes for a multi node cluster. I’m currently using Longhorn and NFS, but I'm not happy with the performance. My cluster doesn’t have beefy nodes, so Ceph/Rook is out of the question (for now).

    Nodes:

    1. 8 GB RAM, 4 cores VM, control plane. 256 GB SSD
    2. 4 GB RAM, 2 cores, control plane, currently cordoned. 128 GB SSD
    3. 8 GB RAM, 4 cores, ARM, control plane. 512 GB SSD
    4. 8 GB RAM, 4 cores. 256 GB SSD
    5. 16 GB RAM, 6 cores. 256 GB SSD + 1 TB HD
    6. RPi 4, 4 GB RAM. 128 GB SSD

What are some lesser known songs that should be more appreciated?

    1. Childhood's end (Obscured by clouds)
    2. Alan's psychedelic breakfast (Atom hearth mother)
    3. Two suns in the sunset (The Final Cut)
    4. High hopes (The division bell)
    5. Sorrow, live from Pulse
    6. bonus: Allons-y from The endless river (this is going to be controversial)

Hello, first time poster (and also no significant EE background, so bear with me).

After receiving a batch of bad USB C PD trigger boards, I decided that it would be better if I made some myself. The design is taken from the CH224K datasheet. However, I am not sure if

    1. the schematic is correct
    2. the PCB is well laid out (I really struggled to fit everything)

Here is the schematic, and here is the PCB. Both are in a Codeberg repo.
