I went to see this movie in the cinema a few days ago, and I have to say I absolutely loved this movie and I laughed my ass off for hours even though I'm not usually one to love comedic movies. I think it's not for everyone but I thought it was hilarious. The cinematography was fantastic (if you love producers like Wes Anderson) and the story ended up being really serious and touching in the end. A social commentary on power, wealth, stupidity and climate change. 10/10 would recommend. I haven't heard or read any of the discourse around tom cruise or this movie so maybe I'm not in on the context around this movie but I thought it was a masterpiece.

    I do, because I have chronic health issues that require me to monitor these types of variables. I also use it to predict my next period so I can prepare and so I can be a bit kinder to myself. I use Drip though so everything stays on my phone and that bunch of people won't mine shit.

    I accidentally took 4 times the amount of dexamphetamine once because I thought the pills were 2,5mg instead of 10mg. At school the teacher complimented me saying he had never seen me as invested in the lesson as I was...

    The people hating on him clearly haven't seen much of his content lately. He's grown up and has his life together pretty well now. If you think nobody is deserving of a second chance then you do you, nobody is forcing you to watch his content. I honestly love his redemption arc and I've watched some of his content lately and really enjoyed it. And good for him that he likes self hosting and is doing all these pc DIY projects.

    Why would that be snobbish? The place where the wine was grown/made has a massive influence on the taste, so it really does matter. It's also cultural appropriation to just take a super old tradition like that and give it a totally different name.
