That's what it was. He just wasn't extreme enough. That's why the country collectively lurched in the opposite direction. It makes perfect sense.

He knew things were about to go south because he initiated protective measures against his gaudy oval office deco and some other things.

Now he's just going to alienate half of the support that he still has by proving he really is nutter butters. This is just presidential trolling at this point and ought to end well.

Schumer is totally out of touch and thinks his 1994 agenda will work again. Jeffries wants to establish himself and not ruffle feathers of the mega donors (Schumer as always).

The DNC is still owned by corporate Democrats and it will operate how it has for the last couple decades. It will talk mean and deliver flaccid arguments.

The base will be fractured on if it's a good direction (on purpose by it's leadership), and the right will be able to once again point to weak leadership. They'll be correct in voters' eyes and that will be just enough foothold to start pushing back.

The DNC needs new blood if things are to change but their endearment to moneyed interests will keep that from ever happening.

Unless a separate form of leadership bursts onto the scene, we'll be back to square 1 in a year. Let's check back in 6 months and see how off I am.

Huh, so there's some kind of threat with the gun loving right wing extremists? You would think that perhaps controls would be put in place to ensure the problem doesn't get out of hand. Interesting...

  • Professional help? (lemmy.world)

One of my children is heavily autistic and nonverbal at 6. He had constipation issues before which made him fearful of going #2. He trained himself to just never have a bowel movement, so he soils his diapers all day (his bowls are full and it's the natural progression out). It concerns me because he's continuously backed up and that's not good for his long term health.

Doctors have been little help. The gastro put him in the hospital with a drip to essentially clear him out completely but a week after we were back in the same boat. Our pediatrician has us giving him laxatives daily, and even though we do, this doesn't change the situation. The ABA school he goes to takes him to the bathroom very routinely but this also seems to be ineffective. I've tried putting him on the toilet after meals (he's cooperative to sit there), but he seems to still hold back.

Is there some place we can go to for help?
