Canada had a program like this. It was called Carrot Rewards and it paid you in points for doing health questionnaires and tracking your steps. It was funded by 3 provincial governments (for residents of those 3 provinces). Manulife has a similar program for their insured right now, awarding Aeroplan points.
I personally do ShareX, with an SFTP destination for an nginx webserver. It has an image editor built in as part of the workflow if you enable it, and it can automatically copy the clipboard URL.
You could certainly go the extra mile and setup an image sharing manager or a more complicated solution if you wanted to though, if that makes overall administration easier.
The vast majority of internet traffic originating from Canada doesn't actually go through these lines. Do a MTR/traceroute to anywhere and unless you're on specific commercial networks, all of your traffic will be going through a US Internet Exchange at some point because it's way cheaper for your local greedy telecom.
Here are their ASNs:
- Greenland Connect: Tusass A/S (AS8818)
- St. Pierre and Miquelon Cable: SPM Telecom (AS3695)
- EXA Express: EXA Infrastructure (AS30740)
- Topaz: Google (AS15169)
Two are terminal links to connect isolated regions, the other two are commercial links not used by home internet users.
The level of self-righteousness on that forum is hilarious, so it's nice when the achievement is appreciated for what it is.
Companies can have multiple business lines.
