Mid term election resulted in democratic party wins, majority in Senate and house.

Previously, Republicans had the majority and enabled Trump and his people.

Now, there is hope for checks and balances, for investigations and consequences.

But the system and people, the voters and political and press systems are still the same. OP cautions about a single win and chance not being persistent or indicative of a long tend.

Their first mention of Bazzite should link to the project website, but actually links to another unrelated article of theirs. They linked correctly shortly after, though.

Filed in 2021. That's such a long timeframe, makes me wonder if inflation is priced in. If they appeal for three years, will it be inflation adjusted or be increased by central interest rates?

But within hours of its release players noted that long-standing bugs were still present alongside new ones and, worse still, upscaled in-game assets showed clear evidence of AI retouching.

The backlash has led the publisher and the original developer to delist the game from sale and even promise to “reinstate the original game while we investigate the issues”.

Raven, previously called GeoSpy, lets cops figure out what specific Airbnb or Zillow property a photo was taken in.

An AI company now lets cops take a photo and nearly instantly figure out what specific home it was taken in, using only clues in the photo itself, and is clearly pulling data from sites like Zillow and Airbnb.

The video broadly explains how it technically works, the current landscape of implementations with the help of AI, their explorations, and their limitations.

Running Minecraft alongside other games, and through shared memory, gameplay elements merge and work together. Minecraft blocks and player combat control in Skyrim, in a Skyrim world, with enemies behaving like in Skyrim.

Roughly 30% of China's population plays mahjong. That's over 500 million people... But what surprised me wasn't the amount of people that play mahjong here. Rather, it was the distinct, negative outlook that people have toward the game. It's even exempt from the Chinese Cultural Heritage list because of this collective "distaste", even though the association has enlisted analgous games such as Weiqi (Go) and Xiangqi (Chinese Chess). So I took to the parlors to understand why.

Germany just freed up half a trillion euros to rebuild itself — and eighteen months later, the money has barely moved. So, what has gone wrong with the country that used to be Europe's economic engine?

Everyone has a favourite villain: the end of cheap Russian gas, Chinese competition, Trump's tariffs. But none of them explains why a town outside Berlin can't spend two million euros to resurface a road, even after the cash has been handed over. In this video I look at the real problem underneath Germany's economic stall — a system so built around caution and consensus that it can't move, even when it desperately needs to.

We get into the suspended debt brake and the €500 billion that won't spend, the phantom construction sites, Germany's shift from mechanical engineering to a software-driven economy it wasn't built for, the "Export World Champion" trap, and why the American alternative — pouring billions into moonshots and space-based power grids — might be the opposite pathology rather than the answer. Featuring the work and ideas of Wolfgang Münchau (Kaput), Michael Pettis, Adam Tooze, and reporting from the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg.

Is Germany's decline permanent, or is the recovery already quietly underway? That's the open question — and it's not really a German question. It's just that Germany got there first.

In this video, I share a personal story. I analyse the psychology of the "creep" and explore the psychological landscape of the outsider. When we stop outsourcing our safety to habitual "bubbles of belonging", we also enter a space of personal agency. The idea that the inside world is safe and the outside world is dangerous might be an illusion altogether, created by those who do not want us to escape systems. I recommend a life lived off-script.

She describes a situation others would describe as creepy, but she did not experience it as such. She explores why she sees creepiness and safety traveling alone differently from others.

Goes into attachment to social bubbles and views and risks of social bubbles compared to outside of them.
