Oof, I had a similar support experience with an Index RMA. They bounced me across multiple agents that wouldn't read previous messages and would ask for the same trouble shooting steps I'd already SHOWED THEM, it was hell 🫠

Glad to hear the balls rolling and I pray you get yours fixed soon :)

I had mine for a month too, was yours also in beta branch per chance?

P.S, don't worry about the posts, it gave me a good chuckle scrolling through my notifications; it happens :P

I want to do it, I saw the screws and it looked like an easy teardown but I don't want to mess with the warranty by accident, and I feel like this is beyond a connection issue I could fix

I wish there were more accounts of others trying, but I wouldn't want to do it unless I knew it would work.

I had to unlock it to detach the Frame during my reseating attempt(s), but I'll wiggle it some with heavy copium-infused magic ✨

I heard this is an issue caused by being in the current beta version, maybe double check that rumor when you get yours.

    Hope it comes soon! :)

I pray for the safety of all your Frames

Tragically while I was streaming VR Minecraft, my Frame randomly shut down and has rejected further charge, rendering it dead. I've heard of it happening to others and it's unsurprising it happened to me, all my tech is cursed. 🫠

I've already had many issues. Some weeks ago I had to flash the OS again after a boot loop glitch, that was scary. The software is very buggy.

Tried some suggestions... unlocking and reseating the Frame, different cables and different devices to provide power. It still won't draw from my powerbank let alone my Steam Deck charger.

RMA process has started, they responded within an hour. hopefully it won't be too long for... repairs. 😶 Anyone have other suggestions I could try before I send it off?

Was expecting worse framerates but the videos make it look almost tolerable.

I hope this gets better, because fuck Nintendo. They deserve to be blindsided by an emulator right when the gaming is getting good.

    Loss of input fix??? O:

Does that mean I don't have to restart the frame's desktop environment every time I drag a window and it permanently attaches to my cursor and prevents almost every input?

That would be wicked, was my biggest frame issue

It is, and it plays great. It's also really good for stream testing, ez to get into and see/listen for issues.

Wish I knew how modded BS runs on the standalone frame, I recall there being some visually intense tracks people made that were wicked fun
