The picture shows an original 2x4, then the planed downsize later on, and then a modern further reduction to get more boards out of a log. Its not enshitification in our current world we live in, but shows how you get less wood these days. But my original point never mentioned enshitification, I was just showing that a 2x4 is a label, because the sizes changed over time and we call it the same.

I thought there was a user search that showed you what they upvoted or downvoted on. To me that could be abused by a party like the US border agents, or ads to check what type of things you've marked as a yay or nay

Had a meat lover dude tell me how disgusting it was that they eat dogs in Korea*... Like how could people be so cruel.

He made zero connection to beef farming I guess.

*our dog is a rescue from Korea, most likely a dog farm. But our friends dog is 100% from a dog farm.

Bowties with Fresh Basil, Tomato and Violife Feta.

I do almost all the cooking. My wife cooks maybe 2 or 3 times a year. She makes this tasty pasta dish that I'm thankful for...not having to cook is a nice treat.

A few pints of fresh grape tomatoes. (Don't bother if they are tastless ones)

Put them in an oven dish, with chopped fresh garlic, Italian spices, basil, salt and pepper and roast it till the tomatoes burst and the juices are bubbling.

Toss that onto some pasta with fresh basil and Violife vegan Feta.

    Very tasty.

We moved backward in time when we needed a new car and got an early 2000s Toyota.
Mainly was for ease of repair, due to what electronics and dealer costs are these days. But also the new vehicles all have telemetry and sell your data to advertisers and insurers.

Anyhow, good mechanically sound car and mint condition inside and out, but wear parts wear. And this rusted link popped its top.

    Easy fix though.

Many online videos suggest putting cat on jack stands and using a jack under the control arm to get the new link in place.

I found you can just use the jack point and lower the car till its just close enough to connect back in, and use a 4 inch c clamp to bring the sway bar down once you have the link inserted. A very easy repair that the dealer wants $220 an hour to do.

Today, as an old guy, I was cleaning our glass top stove. The Weiman cleaner is in the cupboard above the stove. I squirted a bunch on the dirty rings and then realized its normally white not blue paste.

Turns out I grabbed the Cascade Complete dishwasher liquid. Duh.

I started to wipe it and realized it was pulling off the baked on food better than the stove cleaning product.

Best it has looked in 5 years.

P.s. made sure to fully rinse all of it off so no residue remained.
