guns are not a tool to de-escalate any situation. by definition, pulling a gun escalates.
the only reason a gun should ever be pulled is when every deescalation tactic has failed and there is a credible threat to human life.
you do not pull a gun to scare someone into cooperation, you pull a gun to immediately incapacitate a threat.
responsible concealed carriers know this. cops, on the other hand...

the other day I saw her manage to block one into driving over a metal grate on the sidewalk, at which point its sensors must've gotten confused cause it just stood there and didn't move. I left after about 5 minutes, I wonder if someone had to come rescue it lol
