A soon as I first heard of all this my one and only thought was "Diddy didn't diddle did he? Diddy did."

Just like Usain Bolt, nominative determinism strikes again.

A bit undercut by Diddy choosing his name though.

Usain Bolt, surprisingly, was born that way.

When I heard about the charges my first thought was "he wasn't seriously trying to tell the world with his stage name was he?" But I have to suspect that he was. People who do terrible things just want to brag about it and often that's their undoing

    That's great.

Me, I like other people do call me Superman. Some do, out of pity probably. But most people who actually matter, like my employer, the postal services or the taxman, call me John B. Nobody.

This inmate's name is Sean Combs.

His name is Sean Combs but he is called Diddy because that is his stage name, which he used for decades.

Is the meme a courtroom proceeding?

Imagine getting this butt-blasted over someone's preference.

Is it actually a preferred name or is it a stage name?

Also how did puff daddy become diddy? I never understood that but I guess if I cared more I would have followed it closer

I just googled that too. Apparently he made the change to P Diddy in 2001 after being acquitted of guns and bribery cases to signify he was turning over a new leaf.

He dropped the P in 2005.
