Excuse me, what are you two saying to each other? The governments would like to know!

It's also worth pointing out that the politicians voting on this are also exempting themselves from being monitored. Their chats, emails, photos etc.. will remain private and will not be scanned. Literally not holding themselves to the same level of accountability. This could get very dirty.

Makes you wonder what they need to hide?

Yes, but trying to turn the conversation into whatever weird conspiracy you are fomenting is fucking weird

And those who really have something to hide will just use closed platforms, maybe on darknet.

This chatcontrol is a complete waste of time and resources and won't achieve any goal, except putting all law-abiding citizens under undue surveillance. What about basic human rights?

The scary part isn't just that they're scanning for CSAM — it's that the infrastructure is designed to be expanded.

Once AI-driven client-side scanning is normalized, it won't stop at child abuse. It will be used for "terrorism", "misinformation", "hate speech" — and eventually, any content the state dislikes.

This is what we just covered in the latest episode of The Italian Uncut: how Chat Control 2.0 isn't about safety, but about the normalization of total surveillance.

The tech is already here. The question is: will we accept it?

Unfortunate most people don't care and don't understand all this things. Also as many say I have nothing to hide.... Let be ready for self host and prepare to buy devices with unlocked bootloader there actually not other way,no trust to device no trust to service messaging
