Absolutely. Two and a half decades of software development and the boss just vibe-coded me out of a job, using my code to do it. The bit about always suspecting you're autistic but never having any reason to investigate (until now) really hits home. Until now, whatever I am has been useful. Now it feels like no one has any use for people like me.

It will sound cliche but don't forget your value is not defined by a job, number one. It's a shitshow out there, I only recently found a new position after a year out of work, when LLM addicted execs downsized my last team. but there are still orgs that prioritize accuracy and quality over slop and speed, those are the ones to seek out these days.

I was definitely investigating an ADHD diagnosis while seeking work, the behavior patterns are much more noticeable isolated and missing the problem solving dopamine hits. I never got around to seeing a professional about it though. Figures.
