I saw the "trailer" a few days ago. It looked underwhelming. I hope I'm wrong but it really came off like it might be slop. There was no gameplay. What was shown was EXTREMELY generic. The thing that turned me off the most is that for a game about fixing mechs in a workshop their idea was to have one "multi-tool" that could do everything.

Maybe I'm wrong and I hope I am but sadly these days I find it more important than ever to be skeptical.

The problem I have with most car/console/etc fix games is that there is no challenge or strategy beyond figuring out the puzzle sequence. Plus they often add a slow work penalty at the beginning so you can upgrade your tools, but the whole thing just makes the first hours miserable.

What's the game where you have to follow in the shadow of a giant walking thing or else the sun will kill you?

Hello Sunshine is a mystery survival RPG set in the sun-scorched ruins of a corporate empire. You play the final employee. Your mission: reach the tower at the end of the road, and help decide the fate of what remains of this world.

To survive the blistering heat and deadly sun, you'll walk in the shadow of a towering war machine, scavenging for supplies and searching for pieces to the puzzle.

When the sun sets and the robot stops to charge, you'll make camp, craft new gear, and repair your mechanical guardian. But the wasteland is freezing cold at night. Stay close to the robot to keep warm.
