She just endorsed Mike Rogers.

It’s not a unity issue. It’s a “Stevens is being a salty little bitch about badly losing the primary to El-Sayed, despite shitloads of corpo and AIPAC funding” issue.

While it doesn’t appear at the moment that the DCCC establishment-writ-large directly caused or instigated this, this does very much fall in the category of “establishment fuckery”, as Stevens was very much the establishment candidate in the primary. I’m sure enterprising individuals will dig into how much the party machinery caused and/or encouraged this after the election, however.

If you're hopeful about a new Democratic majority, don't be. (But still vote, especially if you have a DSA on your ballot.)

This is a tiny-scale preview of how Democrats will use the power we give them on Tuesday: to limit the amount of good that the tiny, tiny fraction of DSA's is going to push to create.
