That was almost three times as much as what businesses producing and refining oil in the United States made in the same period in 2025.

We could avoid a lot of harm if we got rid of the need for oil.

Hey Trump said that it's fine the prices are so high because the oil companies are making bank. IDK how that was supposed to be a positive but the people behind him cheered so it must be good.

Yeah he legit bragged all the oil companies were doing great and then started mocking all us filthy poors to his own audience right to their faces. Claiming the everyday person's struggles weren't real.

...Then he...once again started pontificating on some other politician guy's ass.

There really is no rock bottom for this guy, he'll keep on diggin' past the bedrock layer.

I'm thinking people in the audience are the kinds that, instead of having a serious adult conversation about taking away Grandpa's keys when he's going off the rails, are the types that would sit there and watch their own Grandpa put on a crazy performance, because they are being entertained by all the unhinged shit.

It's been feeling like energy, technology, and defense companies run the entire country for a while, it's just becoming more apparent over time.

The advancement of solar panels is just so ridiculous in the face of all this. We just need to build the infrastructure.

He's not wrong though. He can actually end the war instantly whenever he wants. Just completely leave the region. Iran does their ayatollbooth and traffic rises quickly back up to pre-war levels.

At least now there’s the paper trail for why he started the war.

Mr President, how does it feel to not do as well as Joe Biden in providing for oil company profits? Do you think you can make Iran war last long enough to help those great American companies "survive"?

See, it wasn't a war started with no reason.
