Sauteed in a pan with a tablespoon of butter and a big spoonful of honey. I finish with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a tiny amount of salt.

I used to do a similar thing, but smaller pieces, and then mix it into pancake batter. much better than just putting raw banana slices on top of the batter imo. also really good with a mix of apple and pecans

Yummm! That looks super tasty and a great reminder to not pass on frying up some bananas soon. The touch of salt is a nice touch!

I like to put them in the air fryer with a little bit of cornstarch and spice coating. They get slightly crispy on the outside

I'm going to have to try adding salt next time!

That sounds even better than the Bananas Foster I make. It’s just butter, brown sugar, and a bit of cinnamon to fry them in. With vanilla ice cream of course.

I like to add a splash of whiskey or rum to mine and flambe them a bit.

If I had an open flame cook top I'd try it out. Out maybe I'll just get it super hot and use a lighter before the honey.

I got one if those propane powered "flame throwers" for christmas last year... and I'll be damned if I don't use that thing everywhere in the kitchen. Crisping cheese, charring veg, elotes.... it's super handy, and a single little 1 pound cylinder lasts a long time. I use it in little bursts almost daily and I've changed twice I think. It would work perfect for this
